A good assessment does more than give a diagnosis. It explains what is happening, why, and what may help. Our assessments are thorough, evidence-based and written in plain language, with clear recommendations for home, school, further study, work and other professionals. We welcome assessment appointments and have current availability.
Who we assess
We assess children, adolescents and adults for autism, ADHD, learning disorders, intellectual disability and giftedness. We can combine areas where that gives the clearest and most useful picture.
Adults are welcome for diagnostic assessment and NDIS Functional Capacity Assessment. Please get in touch to discuss your needs and the most appropriate assessment pathway.

ADHD and behaviour assessment
A structured look at attention, activity, impulsivity and behaviour across settings, to understand the person's needs and guide support.
Learning assessment
An assessment of learning and academic skills to identify specific learning disorders and explain difficulties at school, further study or work.
Cognitive and giftedness assessment
A cognitive (IQ) assessment to understand a person's thinking and learning profile, including intellectual disability and giftedness.
Combined assessments
Where it gives the clearest answers, we combine areas such as autism and cognitive assessment in one process.

An assessment typically includes a clinical interview with the person being assessed or their parent or carer, standardised testing, information from school or other settings where relevant, scoring and interpretation, and a detailed written report. We talk you through the findings in a feedback session so you understand what they mean and what comes next.
Your report includes
Clear findings, a diagnosis where one applies, and practical, individualised recommendations for home, school, further study, work or daily life.
Assessment fees
Every assessment includes an orientation session, the assessment itself, all test materials, multiple copies of the report, and a feedback session with Gina. You can choose a comprehensive report or a shorter summary report.

Which report do I need?
A comprehensive report includes the full clinical interview, background and developmental history, all assessment data, clinical interpretation, diagnostic evaluation, specifiers and support levels, and tailored recommendations with intervention appendices.
A summary report covers the clinical interview, diagnostic evaluation, specifiers and support levels, and general recommendations. We can help you choose the right one for your purpose, for example for school, NDIS or specialist referral.
