If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $149.05 per session. Referrals can also be made by a paediatrician or psychiatrist. This practice does not bulk bill.
Some children are eligible for additional Medicare support. For example, a child referred by a paediatrician or psychiatrist for a neurodevelopmental condition such as autism may be able to claim rebates towards assessment sessions and, once a treatment plan is in place, a number of treatment sessions. Eligibility rules and age limits apply, so the best step is to ask your paediatrician or GP, or contact us and we will help you understand what your child may be able to access.
A proportion of the session fee may be redeemable from your private health insurance, depending on your plan. Please contact your provider for details.
Diagnostic assessment fees range from $1,700 to $3,700, depending on the type of assessment and whether you choose a comprehensive or summary report. Every assessment includes all sessions, report preparation and a feedback session. The full schedule is on our Assessments page.
Payment is required at the time of the appointment. We accept EFTPOS and credit card. Third-party payments are accepted with prior approval.
FCA fees are GST free and range from $2,884.09 to $6,198.26, depending on the presentation and whether you need a Focused or Comprehensive assessment. Each fee includes all sessions, standardised measures and the full report. The intake session is $303.59. The full schedule is on our NDIS FCA page.
We understand children get sick and life happens. To be fair to all families waiting for appointments, we ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. A cancellation fee of $150 applies to late cancellations and missed appointments: for private clients, this means less than 24 hours notice; for NDIS clients, less than 48 hours notice, in line with your service agreement. If your child is unwell, please let us know as early as you can and we will do our best to help.
